Membership Requirements
Current Firearms Licenses
Valid category A/B firearms license appropriate for pest control operations. Licenses must be current and in good standing.

- • Genuine reason covers pest control
Professional Equipment
Thermal imaging capability, GPS tracking device, and appropriate firearms for target species.

- • Vehicle suitable for rural property access
Public Liability Insurance
$20M public liability insurance required for all coordinated operations through the platform.

- • Automatically applies to all platform coordinated operations
Safety Protocol Training
Complete online safety training covering property protocols, communication requirements, and emergency procedures.

Application Process
Submit Application
Complete application with license details, equipment inventory, and experience summary. Upload current license documentation, insurance and references.
Verification Review
Verification team reviews licenses, checks equipment standards, and validates experience. Process typically completed within 12 to 14 business days. Attend a membership interview or control job with another member. We need to ensure you have what it takes to be a Feral Up volunteer.
Safety Training
Complete online safety modules covering property protocols, communication, GPS tracking, and emergency procedures. Self paced, 2 to 3 hours total. Pay your membership and training fees.
Network Access
Approved volunteers receive platform access and we begin connecting you with farmers in your region. Your hunting club insurance is verified for coverage. Not all applicants are approved, we are only looking for volunteers with the right attitude who can respect the farmer and the pest control responsibility.
